Metro tower 101.

Inspired by the old computer simulation games from the late 90s, the objective of this game is to build a tower of apartments, offices, shops, and restaurants to attract residents.

Add a floor and tenants will move in. Residents require basic amenities, such as elevators and a parking. And the taller the tower gets, the more demanding they become.

Happy residents produce rent income, so additional floors can be added to the tower. Some amenities, such as vending machines, also produce income. Other amenities prevent problems.

This game awards attentiveness. Don’t be fooled into thinking you can leave the game running in your absence to produce a pile of cash. The residents tend to be messy and throw trash, food, even computers out the windows. Collect them before they become litter to avoid fines. Amenities require maintenance and will stop working without proper attention.

Metro tower is available on iOS.

About me.

I am an artist and creative director by day. This game is the result of several years of nights.

When not working or programming, I’m probably in the garden or restoring whatever has fallen off my fifty-year old car. You can view my garden and Karmann Ghia on my Instagram. You can view my github page if you want to make your own awesome neopixel gps clock or look at other random code I’ve posted.

Thanks for playing!
