Inspired by the digital music players of the 90s, retroJam is a theme-friendly playlist-based music player for your Mac that respects your screen real estate.

No streaming services. No hidden library with duplicates of your music files. Create playlists that remember where you already keep your music, choose a theme, and play your music. Feeling creative? Design and add your own themes.

What it isn’t
retroJam isn’t compatible with streaming services such as Apple Music, Spotify or protected music file formats. If you’re looking for a stylish player compatible with Apple Music, check out Mario Guzman’s beautiful Music Widget. Similarly, retroJam does not currently support internet radio. Check out Broadcasts. For syncing your library across devices, Doppler is very polished.

System requirements
This app runs on macOS computers running macOS Sequoia (15) or later.
